About ERSO
Main objectives of the ERSO project
- Coordinating activities for a sustainable reintegration of returnees among project members.
- Sharing of resources - contacts and partners (possibly staff) in countries of return, countries of stay and available funds; methodology and know-how.
- Enhancing the effectiveness of the project members' staff in reintegration counselling services.
- Sharing existing and establishing new reintegration support structures in countries of return.
- Sharing experience, best practice and lessons learnt among project members.
- Establishing a well-functioning and effective European network of reintegration assistance services in the best interest of the individual client, the potential returnee.
To reach these aims, the ERSO project covers a number of measures in the
European members states:
- vivid exchange of information about activities in the field of return and reintegration in the member states,
- further development of return and reintegration programmes in third countries.
Countries of Return:
- an implementation programme for a functioning network of partner organisations in several countries of return,
- main countries of return ("Focal Points") are: Armenia, Bolivia, Bosnia, Kosovo, Mongolia, Macedonia, Sierra Leone, Ukraine
Communication measures:
- an online knowledge and communication platform including a "wikipedia"-like question & answer tool and a client questionnaire,
- a public website www.erso-project.eu.
